Digital Combustion is a sought after "name" for developing realistic, easy to use simulation softwares. They have a successful string of products, ranging from Firestudios 1.0 to its current running version "Firestudios 3.0″. Now, they were very enthusiastic about the slated to be launch of their latest version of Firestudios , i.e "Firestudios 4.0″.
While discussing the finer sides of this project , Mr Bryan Young, Market Strategist, Digital Combustion Inc, expressed his heart-wrenched desire that everything should be done in an aggressive manner, we don't want subtle effects, there has to be a blast . So the website has to be in deep contrasting colors with plenty of flash, and for god sake "Pleasestray away from appearing dull and outdated".
The Challenge
After hearing to Young's comments, the creative heads of Miracle Studios intermingled with each other in the board's room, and indulged the client into a virtual chat. Where , the respective visual artist and the marketing geek of Miracle Studios, asked a list of questions to Mr Young , they were listening to Mr Young very attentively with their hands scribbling all the elements related to the project on to a notepad .
The Solution
After wrapping up the meeting with Mr Young , two of them ("visual artist "and "the marketing geek" ) called out for a web designer and brand building specialist and had another brainstorming session with them.
An appropriate "web designer" was appointed from the team after citing his past experience in dealing with the concepts which somewhat relate with what Mr Young embraced for in the preliminary discussion. The goal was to create a sharp looking website which can launch the new product of Digital Combustion in scintillating colors. The thing has to be aggressive and up to date ......
Approach
Miracle Studios did complete makeover for Digital Combustion's new website. The redesigning of this website witnessed five-tier approach from Miracle Studios .
Tier One : Preliminary discussion with the client.
Tier Two : Brainstorm the client's project.
Tier Three : Felicitating the project to appropriate person with related experience in handling same type of concepts in past.
Tier Four : Detailed questionnaire from client.
Tier Five : Starting the work on project.
Solution
Miracle Studios coined a concept that blended perfectly with theme of this project. The new avatar of digital combustion was sleek, crisp and was laden with firing flash effects, all in all it took a lot of creative energy in order to implement following tasks :
1) Creative logo designing
2) Powerful and aggressive flash effects
3) Choosing right color combination for this website
4) Creative branding with sales oriented copy writing.
Technology Used:
1) HTML
2) Flash
3) Adobe Photoshop
Finally , the new website of Digital Combustion was set free on the turbulent sea's of internet on 25 September, 2007.
Results :
Miracle Studios called up Mr Young, Marketing Geek of Digital Combustion and asked him to open the URL to his new website in his Internet Explorer. As the website bloomed on his screen , he was virtually blown over his feet.
There were few immediate words of consolation for Miracle Studios by Mr Young, " You guys are simply great, i can't take my eyes off my computer screen, i can't believe that my product can look so creative, I am feeling the adrenaline rushing through my mind when my eyes sail through the firing effect used in the background of my product in the header. Hat's off to Miracle Studios they have delivered well beyond my expectations."
After the success of Digital Combustion , Mr Young carried out a "word of mouth " sort of thing for Miracle Studios in his friend's circle, which brought us more clients and kept us busy through out the year.
